The Inner Creative, A 4 Week Short Art Course for Busy Mums
You’ve still got it
The Inner Creative is a small-group art workshop designed for mums who feel creative at heart, but haven’t made space for it in a while. It’s about slowing down, reconnecting with yourself, and creating in a supportive, welcoming environment.
This course is for you if you’re craving time that’s just yours, want to feel more confident creatively, and would love to connect with other like-minded women along the way.
What to expect
Over four weekly sessions during school hours, we’ll explore charcoal and paint through gentle, guided exercises designed to remove pressure and quiet the inner critic.
Each session includes:
Step-by-step creative guidance (no experience needed)
Time to explore materials at your own pace
Gentle conversation woven naturally into the session
A relaxed, supportive group environment
Space to reflect, connect, and simply enjoy creating
Some light refreshments included, feel free to bring your favourite snacks
You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you like — there’s no pressure to perform, speak, or finish anything.
Who this workshop is for
This workshop is especially suited to:
Mums who feel like they’ve lost touch with their creative side
Those who’ve dabbled in art before but feel out of practice
Anyone feeling creatively blocked, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start
Women seeking connection, confidence, and a weekly pause for themselves
Based in Sydney, Australia
No prior art experience is required — just curiosity and an open mind.
The format
Duration: 4 weeks
Session length: 2.5 hours per session 10:30am to 1pm
Group size: Small intimate groups, maximum 10 participants
Medium: Charcoal and paint (materials provided)
Location: Sydney, Inner West
Keeping the group small allows for individual guidance and a calm, intimate atmosphere.
What you’ll gain
By the end of the four weeks, many participants experience:
Increased creative confidence
A sense of reconnection with themselves
Reduced fear around making art
Meaningful social connection with other mums
A renewed sense of curiosity and play
Most importantly, you’ll leave knowing you’ve made space for you.
Investment
$310 for the full 4-week experience
Early bird: $280 (limited spots)
All materials are included.
A gentle note
This is not a traditional art class focused on technical outcomes.
It’s a guided creative experience where process matters more than perfection.
If you’ve been waiting for permission to make time for yourself — this is it.
Sessions are run once a term, please sign up to our newsletter to find out when the next round will begin.
